About book The 10 Habits Of Happy Mothers: Reclaiming Our Passion, Purpose, And Sanity (2011)

I'm giving this book two stars but it's probably about me as much as about the book. I think I've finally moved far enough down the motherhood continuum (kids ages 18, 15 and 12) to not worry about stuff like this, or at least not want to be TOLD what I should or shouldn't be. For better or worse as far as mothering goes, I've hit my stride and am content with who I am and the way that I parent. The many lessons that keep coming show me what needs to be tweaked, trust me!A list of things I "must" or "mustn't" do just doesn't work for me anymore. I enjoyed a lot of the personal stories in this book and it made me think about things, so I might have given it a little higher rating than it deserves. This book should have been about half the length that it was. A few of the chapters just felt flat and I found myself skimming through them, but some of the others really spoke to me and made me think. It is a great reminder of what is important.
