About book The Flesh Cartel #7: Homecoming (2013)

This book was fucking with my head in a away that was driving me nuts!Just like Dougie I keep forgetting that Nikolai is the bad guy. Between all the "nice" things that Nikolai is bringing and doing to Dougie and the story that he told about himself being brought to that house and trained... My mind stated to seeing another way and I hate that because I want to hate Nikolai for all he did and is doing. Those shits are wrong is so many way! That ending. Oh Mat! He´s consumed by guilt and it's all Nikolai's fault. In that moment I truly hated him.My dear Mat...And Roger... I wish I could see inside his head. Something tells me to trust him and that he's genuinely good to Mat but Roger is controlled by Nikolai. I need to read the next one. I like Dougie and feel sorry for him most of the time, but his part of the story seems to drag on somewhat. Some of his scenes could get cut back a little and I don't think anything would be lost as far as making his thought process and feelings clear to the reader. All I can say is that I'm glad I have the next part of this already because the way this installment ended would have been too much to have to wait a month for resolution.

This is not a love song indeed. Most chilling book yet, with a horribly vicious cliffy. Damn.
