About book The Ghosts Of Crutchfield Hall (2000)

=-`spoil alert=`- I choose this book because the main character was Florence in the beginning of the story Florence was in a orphanage she was in a orphanage because her mom past away when she got her and her dad died about 2 or 3 months latter when his wife died and that was the time when she went to the orphanage.she got adopted from her uncle and her uncle has a wife and a son witch now the uncles son is her brother when they got home and when they showed her room the aurhor said it was big.she put her stuff down and she went to the kitchen and everybody was drinking tea and then Floarence said she was tierd by the long trip she went to her room and she saw a face of her mom and then she got scaredI was surprised when the mom's face poped out of nowere it said in the text that Florence went to here room and she saw her mom'face and she got scared. my favorite part was when the mom face poped out of nowere.i couldent understand what was going on with the story until the endI would recommende this book to my littel brother because he loves to read and watch scary moveis and read scary books. that is why I chosse this book. I enjoy reading books from this author as she usually has some interesting plots to them. This was alright, not the best I've read. It wasn't really frightening, despite what the cover says.I think it would be better off as a series, it seems to just end. You aren't really sure if Sophia is at rest, but it seems like she is not. I would probably enjoy the story more if there was a sequel to carry on the plot.Once I got some time to devote to it, it took me around an hour to read through, so it's a quick read. It is a nice little book for kids, but not really something that would be enticing enough for an adult.
