About book The House At Cobb End (2011)

I loved this it also helps explain a bit why Jonas isn't wondering where Pritkin has wondered off to after the last book. Cassie is wondering that in the current book and now I know why. It's because Jonas knows what Pritkin truly is! It was a Eureka moment for me. I only gave it four stars because I would have liked to seen more. Though really it's more of a 4.5 star rating I believe. More about Pritkin's late wife and even though when he does talk about it through the series you get a sense of their relationship I still would have liked to read a little into it. Definitely my favorite of Karen Chance's short stories. This one was funny, very sad, reflective, somehow beautiful. Pritkin is in fine form looking for the house of his dreams for his new bride. Jonas is there as the eccentric employer and he's just funny as can be, the ending is even better with him getting a brief look of soberness. This story is definitely more than just about a house and so haunting. Definitely recommended for Karen Chance fans.

It was short and sweet, but I like getting a better look at Pritkin in any way I can.
