About book The Riptide Ultra-Glide (2013)

Serge and Coleman are back and making a reality TV show. Taping in the beautiful run down state of Florida.Coleman is a weed hero and everyone let's him know that. Puff puff...The McDougall's can't seem to catch a break. They are fired due to budget cuts and decide to take a vacation to Florida. And things go horribly wrong for them as soon as they arrive. And trust me.. it doesn't get better. They do have great contact with out two favorite psychos. Drug smuggling and prescriptions for Oxy. Dangerous times call for over the top pills. All this fits into a outrageous package that Serge and Coleman can definitely handle....Tim Dorsey really knows how to start off a book. The first line of every book is magical and will suck you in.The end...omg... that ending. I need the next book now!!! Serge Storms and his sidekick Coleman were quite a pair. To be honest, half way through the book I came to the conclusion that Serge was so insane that Coleman was an imaginary friend to him (but in reality he exists). So I was wrong on that one, but I have to say the book is fast paced, exciting, and really funny. I like Tim Dorsey's style, a lot of his description seems to be taken care of by a character explaining exactly what they are seeing or witnessing. Not your normal writing style, but effective for linking in the comedic aspect. Great book, great reading,I look forward to checking out more in this series.
