About book The Search (2006)

Ranjan Sharma Ms. Lauren beigert 7.2 Language and literature “Kidnapped” Author: GORDON KORMANThe story takes place in U.S and the main character in this story is Meg Falconer. Another Characters is Aiden Falconer, he is an intelligent guy and can do anything for his sister. Meg has been kidnapped by a group of 3 people who do not want ransom from Falconer family but they have another wish. One of the kidnapper Mickey‘s brother was arrested and he needed a very good lawyer to win the case and you need good money for good lawyers, the kidnappers just want money to win his brother’s case. Meg gets kidnapped by a group of 3 people. Falconer family asks FBI to find her they did their first attempt but failed and the kidnappers went away and took Meg somewhere far. Meg makes traces and leaves some clue where is she going by blocking the toilets in gas stations with toilet paper and flooding them. She got this idea from a book which her father wrote. The news publishes that toilets in the gas stations beside a road are flooded and when Aiden reads the news he makes the connection from his father’s book and gets the hint Meg must have done that to give a clue. Aiden goes out to find out about those blocked toilets and find Meg without telling his parents because he knew if he told his parents they won’t let him go. Falconers get a new FBI agent MR. Sorenson but he is as dumb as a donkey and not creative at all. When falconers found that Aiden went in search of Meg they told the FBI agent to go look for him but he neglected it and said Aiden is not related to the case and so there is no mean in finding him. Kidnappers move Meg in near a forest in a small house. Aiden traces down the hint and finds Meg with another FBI agent who did try to understand Aiden and followed Aiden through those clued despite not belonging to this case. I learned a lesson from this book that kidnappers are always not cruel or they don’t kidnap someone for getting rich and you can help yourself when you are kidnapped by doing what Meg did. I liked this book because it was full of suspense and I also got to learn how to escape when you in trouble like Meg. The book was predictable sometimes like when Meg left clues by blocking the toilet I predicted Aiden will get the news and follow her and it happened. The ending of the book was happy because Meg got free from kidnappers and Mickey got some help from the Falconers to help his brother as Meg told his family Mickey did not kidnap her for any evil reason. My favorite part was when Meg left clues along the route where she was going. I will recommend this book to anyone Virath because he like to read suspense and books containing murder.

This book Kidnapped: The Search was really good. Aiden is searching for his sister Meg who was kidnapped. Aiden and Meg`s life has not been easy. His family was,at one point, the most hated in the US. Aiden knows that the FBI is not doing everything they can to rescue Meg and he decides to take matter in his own hands. He decides to take the risk even after failing to rescue her once. Aiden knows that there's a chance he might not find her but he would do anything for his sister. I really liked how the author, Gordon Korman, went from Meg`s point of view to Aiden`s. It gives you an incite to what both the characters are thinking. Overall i really enjoyed reading this book.

Reviewed by Frizzie for TeensReadToo.comIn the sequel to THE ABDUCTION, the Falconers and the FBI are still frantically searching for Meg. It has been a little over a week since she was kidnapped and Aiden is getting restless. He hasn't slept, he's barely eaten, and a new agent has just been assigned to the case. After the FBI got very close to getting Meg back, the kidnappers decide to move her to a new location. The new location is nearly impossible to find. But Meg doesn't give up hope. She is still planning to escape. When a mysterious incident happens, Aiden is sure that it's a sign that Meg was sending him. But Agent Sorenson thinks otherwise. So Aiden decides to take matters into his own hands and go search for Meg on his own. This results in many run-ins with the law. Find out exactly what kind by reading this excellent book. THE SEARCH, like the first book in the KIDNAPPED series, was an incredible thriller! Gordon Korman really knows how to write a story that will keep you guessing every time. I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventures. I think this book deserves five stars because it is action-packed and full of realistic details. It's almost like you are there!

As this series continues, there's some shaking up of the status quo. The kidnappers, all having rather different personalities, begin to chafe. Just as importantly, they all have different motivations, which results in some serious disagreement. Why is all this important? When even the kidnappers can't agree on what should happen to the hostage, and if they can't get along... that spells either trouble, or hope. In the meantime, Aiden decides to sneak off and look for Meg on his own, resulting in him pulling stunts similar to his adventures in the prior series, "On the Run". The FBI agent who hunted Aiden and Meg to the ends of the earth in the first series is called in to hunt Aiden down again, since his parents can't bear to have both kids missing. The constant suspense and occasional unexpected (and quite odd) bit of action that marks the series continues, though I have to say, I do prefer "On the Run" over "Kidnapped".

I thought this book was wounderful because its got a lot of action in it. Aiden was a run away because he tried to find his sister Meg. He took his friends close and some how made it past five FBI agents. Agent Harris got the news and went to get him and now they are coming home. If you read the third book you find out that Aiden was very close to finding her.Everybody wants to know. Her brother Aiden, who saw her kidnapped and is now trying to track her down, wants to know. The FBI, led by the very serious Agent Harris, wants to know. Her parents, who fear their pasts have something to do with why Meg was taken, want to know. I would recommend this to anyone.
