About book The Tutor's Daughter (2013)

This was a bipolar book. Every character seemed to have a Dr. Jekyl side and a Mr. Hyde side with no real motive behind the change. Lizzie seemed like a pretty terrible person, so what incentive did she have to be nice at all? It was strange for me.I was intrigued by the mystery woven into the book, but annoyed by almost every character's inconsistencies. The ending was more interesting than the beginning and much of the book could have been edited out without losing the actual story. An excellent example of how romantic love should be written. From beginning to end, I was immersed in the story, its characters and the setting. The Tudors Daughter captivated me with its interesting turn into the intriguing mystery surrounding the home Miss Emma Smallwood travels to. At the same time, the budding courtly romance made me delve deep into my imagination so to view it as though it were a scene being played before me. I think it was love at first page.
