About book The Wizard And The Werewolf (2000)

Hmm..aren't alphas supposed to show restraint? Kissing a guy just after you met him because he smells good doesn't exactly scream control, if you ask me. But it sure was super fun reading how an alpha got protected by a wizard before he could move. Worse, he was immobilized by him. Low blow to the alphaness (not really a word I know!) of the man for sure. Well...Justin, for such a bad-ass biker, sure was mellow too. And I'm positive the end was so abrupt just to give a certain bang but for me it was pretty anticlimactic. I'm not so sure the cliffhanger will work and make me read the next book. Don't know if it's worth it.PS: There's also a certain number of typos and lack of punctuation. The world-building isn't great either and Peter was the worst alpha male ever. Hmm - not really sure what to say about this. I've read MANY Amber Kell books and this is just, really not good. I would almost speculate that maybe one of her kids jumped on her laptop when she wasn't looking and churned out a few pages. I don't really have any other explanation. As I was reading this, the writing style was really jarring. I can usually fly through books and appreciate a good plot even if the author isn't a literary genius, but this just sputtered in places and the writing was bad enough to be noticeable. The story had potential, but it was So short and just ended abruptly. I know it's only book one of the series, and maybe she ended it the way she did so that readers would be forced to read the next one out of sheer curiosity. But I definitely felt like I didn't get a full book. I'd like to know who edited this. Boo on you.Let me end by reiterating that I have read MANY, MANY Amber Kell books that I've enjoyed so don't judge all of Amber Kell by this book. But I will say if she writes any more books like this, I'm done buying.

It was OK but it was too similar to Jaynell´s Wolf.
