About book Tousle Me: A New Adult Parody (2013)

Tousle Me is the first book in A Cliché Too Far series by Lucy V. Morgan. It’s an adult parody. One that will have you laughing from the first page to the last. Cammibelle Hicks is trying to survive her first year at college. She works hard on her degree and her book review blog. She is a typical teenager one who is obsessed with social media. Cammie is also a virgin looking for the right man.Hunter von Style is a man of many hats. He was a cage fighter, rocker, and is a billionaire. He is sleeping with every woman he comes across. Its unclear why he is even in college. What is clear is Hunter is obsessed with Cammie, as much as she is with him. Hunter comes across as a man who has everything he wants but Cammie. The chemistry between Cammie and Hunter is scorching. Everything Cammie wanted Hunter wanted to give her. Hunter charmed Cammie. I loved that Hunter never pressured or pushed her to have sex until she was ready. I found this story to be well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. This is one funny novel. My only issue is that things happen so randomly it does not make any sense. Overall, this was a great novel. I don't really know what to say about this book.I find it funny at times but sometimes it's just too stupid to be remotely funny... This parody portrayed all the NA cliche-ness , some were subtle, some were too over the top. Though the faking of a dead octopus pet and a sparkly unicorn?? It is so stupidly hilarious! I kinda got bored reading the Oh Hunter this Oh Hunter that. It's too annoying xD Honestly I don't know what to expect when I started reading this, I expected Scary Movie kind but it turned out to be not as hilarious as Scary Movie. *Maybe it's because I'm reading oblivious heroine with macho man books — the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley , it overshadow Tousle Me *:P

If I weren't so cool, I'd be embarrassed by sharing the female protagonist's name.
