Although this was a very short story it was packed with a lot of plot. I felt bad for Larke having to live his life being gay as a secret because it was illegal. The ridicule he dealt with from his co-workers was shit. And when he rescued Droge it was beautiful, he was trying his hardest to fight his feelings for this injured man, but the pull between the two of them was too intense. The sex was off the charts hot! And the ending was awesome, exactly what I wanted to happen. Anxious to read more of the series. I liked this! It was interesting and attention catching. The characters were well fleshed and had very real personalities right off the bat. The only thing that I don't like was that it sort of dropped you in the world without explaining certain things so I was left a bit confused.The sex scenes were hot. And the story itself was fun, interesting and easy to follow and understand. I'll be looking into the rest of this series.
looking forward to reading more in this series. this first book was a bit to short I thought though.
