Well hot damn what did I just read? Seriously this one blew me away! Don't let the length discourage you from picking this one up because every page of this sucker counted. When I finished it I felt like I had finished a 500 page novel! Kate Lynne is onto something here and I'm totally sucked into this series! I started this one on the drive home from visiting my sister. Becky had been on me all weekend to read it but I had been threatened by my sister that my kindle was not to be opened or she would rip my head off! So there I was in the car on our way home. I had two kids fighting in the backseat and my hubby driving like Miss Daisy when I started Used. After a few pages nothing else existed around me. I was so absorbed into the story I couldn't hear the kids fighting and my husband's driving wasn't bothering me anymore. Slowly the window came down so I could get some air and I started squirming in my seat.This one was getting to me! Seriously I think the windows in the car were steaming up because this one was on fire! I started eyeing my husband like a predator. I had crazy thoughts running through my head. I was trying to come up with a good excuse to get him to pull over and have a quickie at the nearest rest stop because it was that hot! Then out of no where I was completely dumb founded! Holy shit! Now I knew what Becky was talking about when she said total mind fuck! WTH did I just read! I was speechless! The world slowly came back to me and I was just stunned! Seriously where did this novella come from! Kate Lynne is brilliant and on to something here! So as you can see length really doesn't matter! When a novella is written correctly it can have just as much of an impact as a full length novel! I'm so excited about this series I want to jump up and down and scream! This one is so much more than hot sex it will blow your mind! ***** TEN crazy-good-yet-disturbing STARS *****Highly original. Superbly written. Totally unpredictable.Chapter one starts out all fresh and new, raw and dirty, and V is hot and I'm right there with her... la la la, and thennnnnnn... chapter two bitch-slaps me upside the head. So, her damage is real different from the usual protagonist of this genre, and quite unexpected... my head is spinning... the pov's at the end were intriguing!ps: yes, V is a crazy bitch and yes, i love to hate her, too.
