I like Thorn's take on shifter. I liked it has promise and I will be looking more by this author. What I had trouble with was the way she worded her descriptions. some text has been written over and over in these types of stories. The romantic scenes for me were awkward. They were not over the top or hard cord kink. I actually did not see the characters connecting. There wasn't a major change in emotions or show curbing the scenes. For me, the romantic scenes were blah. but the story line redeemed this flaw. I want to know more and met more characters. OMG found this book when someone posted it on Facebook. LOVE IT. I am a big paranormal reader and this is one i will read over again. I have never read anything from Ms. Thorn before and this will not be the last one i read. I had already bought book 2 before i was half way finished. Awsome storyline,hot alpha male,strong female , great sex scenes,and some funny moments which i enjoy in a book. Tah is a lion shifter who has no idea he is one.Abby is his mate who has figured it out before Tah.On the run from hunters ,Tah and Abby end up with there own pride of shifters and that is where we will get LOTS more books out of Ms.Thorn, I hope. Do not pass up this series it is fantastic. I wait with bated breath for book three.
