About book Wenn Du Meinst... (2014)

Joel and Ian. Joel was pretty real to me, but Ian was unbelievable in the beginning. I loved how sweet he was, but the flakiness of him made him seem like he was only made of paper. It wasn't until Ian picked Joel up from the airport that he became a "real boy". With Joel's return the romantic relationship begins with Ian admitting that his offer to let Joel become his roommate was predicated on Ian wanting to "get into [Joel's] pants." There is a short time skip from Thanksgiving to upcoming Christmas. The relationship seems to progress fairly naturally. Joel continues to appreciate the uniqueness of his lover. They have a fight, however, when Joel returns home to hear Ian in their room with someone else and to see that Ian is in his usual state of half-dress. What brought the story up a notch or so for me was the way that both men decided to express their commitments to each other.A good solid 3.5 stars. It would have received a 3 if Ian hadn't become more of a real person when he had. This was cute, sweet, funny, irritating and annoying it had that awww factor I like and there was heartbreak but not the angsty kind, I will admit a couple of tears were shed. Ian made me laugh and for anyone who thinks there isn’t a real life person out there like Ian well I’m here to tell you you’re wrong and while Ian maybe a tiny bit over-the-top I thought he was the sweetest thing but could I please shake some sense into that boy? I know not going to happen and why would I want to its the thing I loved about him. Unfortunately it was Joel that I found irritating and annoying is there anyone out there that is that perfect? If there is could you please send him my way? :-pThis was a feel good little short and I just have to say it “I wish it were longer!” *lol*

If I met Ian in the street, I would probably try and put him out of his misery.
