Where to begin? This story is truly unlike anything that I have ever read. The writing style is unique and intriguing, which is evident after the first page. At times I was not sure what was reality and what was fantasy. One thing was for certain, Bianca is a broken soul and her past must have been extremely difficult. Each page drew me further in, and my mind just kept trying to second guess what lead to Bianca's pain, and what is her story. Enter Daniel; his character is sweet with a gentle strength and charm that makes him endearing. There was a subtle revelation that made me gasp out loud, and again had me second guessing what was going to happen next. This is a story that you just have to read to understand its uniqueness and experience its impact **I was given a copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review.**Please don't land blast me especially after seeing all the 4 and 5 star reviews I feel somewhat guilty giving it 3 stars. I really tried to get into it but it took me until 78% to really start to like it. I really just couldn't connect with the characters. I think it was beautifully written and a really good story, just too descriptive making it boring for me. I dislike Bianca and I can't find any redeeming qualities about her even in a Christian way. She is broken but she wears guilt that is beyond repair. Daniel is a wonderful man regardless of studying to be a priest. It just seems so unrealistic that of all the women in the entire university that she would be the one he's been looking for. Even when they get to know each other there is nothing endearing about her at all.I feel like the ending was rushed, that is where it needed to be more detailed. I really wanted to like it but I wanted more. I would definitely read more books by Andra Brynn because it was different and sweet.
