-Great chapter book to give students important information about an influential person in history.-There are many other books in this set for students to read to learn more about other important people.-The information is presented in a variety of ways, from copies of adds from the time, as well as pictures for students to look at to help them understand.-In the back of the book, there are a lot of resources for the students to use to give them even more information. For example, there is a timeline of Walt Disney's life, a bibliography of the sources used presented in a kid friendly way, and a list of some of the movies that Walt Disney made. This was a fun read. This was the first book that I've read in this series for young readers and I think that the book was great for a young audience. The information was interesting and I liked that within the story of the person you are reading about there are little blurbs on what else was going on in the world at certain moments in history.I would recommend these for young readers who are interested in learning about specific people.
