About book Xoe: Or Vampires, And Werewolves, And Demons, Oh My! (2009)
I loved this book. It was a fast read and I didn't want it to end. Xoe.. I love her. She is an amazing character. She didn't need some guy to save her and when it came down to it, She was not going to let that happen. She faces things head on and deals emotionally with it later when everyone is safe. I loved that about her.I can't wait to read the rest of this series. This one just left me wanting more. This was a great book!!! I can't believe i had it sitting on my kindle for that long!!!This story is a little slow in the beginning. Xoe is a girl with very little friends. She has 2 best friends named Lucy and Allison. Allison is all about fashion and wears the latest clothes. Lucy and Allison really don't care how they look. Xoe is also really good friends with Brian. He is her next door neighbor. They kind of have a thing going on but refuse to let it get anywhere. whenever someone brings it up they claim it is totally brother and sisterly. One day at lunch a couple new kids started, and sat at their table. Theirs names were Max and Dan. Dan would not stop staring at Lucy which made Xoe nervous. Allison invited them to the movies and Xoe already didn't like it. Everyone thought that Xoe was over reacting. Lucy started to act weird. Allison would make jokes because she is in love! Lucy and Xoe finally agreed to go back to school shopping. Lucy totally changed her look and even bought makeup. Xoe kept telling them that she didn't like Dan that their was something off about him.Well, at the movies it happens. Dan slammed Xoe against the wall and asked what she was. She had no idea what he was talking about. Dan said I know you are not human, what are you. then he realized that she had no idea. Right then and there Xoe knew something was off. Later that night Lucy went home with Dan. Xoe told her it wasn't a good idea, and she didn't listen. Lucy then called Xoe crying that Dan scratched her. the scratched looked really bad. Xoe had a thought that dan was a werewolf. everyone thought it was funny but she was serious. That was until another new guy showed up at school named Jason. he kept telling Lucy and Xoe that Dan was bad. He told them that he was a vampire and that Max and Dan are werewolves. That dan wanted Lucy. they had to protect her. The problem was the Lucy was now going to change into a werewolf. to make matters worse Xoe found out that was only half human, but no one could figure out what the other half was....just great!!!this story is a love story that involves a lot of supernatural activity. it was really awesome to find out what Xoe was and how she could use it to help save Lucy. Over all it was a nice book. kind of had a vampire diaries/Twilight feel, but over all really great read!

This was a good fluff book. It kept me going but not enough to continue with the series.
