All in all it was really short.I’m not a fan of this turn towards abused waifs that the series is taking.Also not happy with that threesome (with other people) in the middle of the story.Sadly, I seem to recall that from now on the majority of the books will follow the sexually indiscriminate attitude of young, abuse-riddled characters. With older guys who hold back. Same thing over and over and over.But let’s find out whether my memory holds true. After a break. Book 5 of the lost shifter series - Noah has been rescued and is trying to settle into life with his family, but is finding it hard given his past.He finds himself falling for Seth, the tiger shifter that rescued him. Seth is annoyed at the extent to which Mitchell and Brent are over-protecting Noah; he's concerned that it's doing more harm than good.I like Noah - he's had a horrible life but it hasn't destroyed him. Seth is big and protective, but also covering his own anguish - his younger brother was one of the children taken twenty years earlier and is still missing.The romance between Seth and Noah is nicely done, and I like how Noah's family have to come to terms with Noah being an adult and needing to be treated as such.This ends with the opening to book 6 - Andy is the last of Mitchell's missing brothers, but looks to be a serious brat.
