About book A Wish To Build A Dream On (2011)

In my version, not even half of the book contained the actual story, the rest was an excerpt from another of the author's books. I generally don't mind excerpts, but more than half of the book? My e-reader counted 67 pages, the actual story ended on page 26, so more than 40 pages of another book (the first four chapters).I was disappointed as I expected a story with 67 pages and therefore (hopefully) more plot, character development etc. But this was just a quick quickie. And it doesn't even say that there's an excerpt at the end, so you couldn't even adjust to the story being a little bit shorter than the page number indicates :( What a powerful short .. Michelle had me weepy at the start. Then it gets happier. Who wouldn't be happy if they were on a tour in Ireland. Then the sneaky Fae steal, or try to, the soul of Mary when she steps into their Fairy Circle. Where were they when I was there? Mary must find love in 3 days or die, when she finds Cian-in 1173. Michelle writes such awesome people, not characters, into her books. I love her stories, insert inside joke here, I picture Taylor David as Cian! It may be a short story but it packs a punch. It's free now so try it out and get hooked on Michelle too!

One of her better short stories....it would be nice if it had been longer but still a good story

A great book that could have been longer but worked just fine as a short story.
