I don't even know where to begin. I had really been looking forward to starting this series. First off I'm gonna say that I 100% HATE our H, Vaughn! He's such an asshole! There is NOTHING sexy about his douchey behavior and the things he says! NOTHING! It burns my soul when the h/H hook up but there is no protection used! Hello! You JUST met each other a day ago! Sure we get a brief mention by our H that he knows the h is on birth control! Really?!? That's enough?!?? What about diseases? Let's not even go into to much detail about the fact he knows this because he's been digging into her life! Note to authors and fellas, digging into a woman's life like that is creepy and NOT sexy! I hope the other books improve because this was a let-down! I have to admit that I didn't expect to like this series as much as I did. What started out as a story about a light BDSM relationship evolved into one about personal growth. There was a lot of drama packed into each of the short books, making them easy to devour and leaving me hungry for more. At times, some of the situations seemed a bit random and unnecessary (the gambling scene), but ultimately served a greater purpose--creating anxiety and tension for the reader and providing the right amount of build up to a satisfying release. I really enjoyed Grace's development and the reasons behind her twitter obsession. All in all, it was a hot series and well worth the read!
