In questo secondo volume torna Hilda, torna Twig, torna il vicino di legno, e torna anche tutta la dolcezza e la fantasia che tanto mi avevano colpito nel primo, ma con una forza maggiore!Se del primo avevo detto che la lettura poteva paragonarsi al gustarsi un succo di frutta, per il sapore e per la durata, questa volta lo sfogliare le pagine ha più il sapore denso e avvolgente di una cioccolata calda, che ti accompagna per un viaggio all'apparenza non più così corto, e di cui temi con seria preoccupazione l'avvicinarsi della fine.Hilda in soli due volumi è stata già in grado di conquistarmi senza riserve, e anche se questo volume è finito (ridatemi la mia cioccolata!), spero che le sue avventure dureranno per molto, molto tempo! I couldn't have asked for more in this enchanting and magical follow-up to Hildafolk. This time around, the story is longer and more developed, which allows one to enjoy it even mode! And, of course, the beautiful illustrations are as phenomenal as ever. I can't express how much I'm in love with Luke Pearson's Hilda comics. It's true what they say - the Hilda illustrations instantly reminded me of both the amazing Tove Jansson, with whose Moomin books I grew up (and which I still adore!), and the genius Hayao Miyazaki, whose films I have cherished for many years now. The books are full of whimsy, adorable quirkiness, and a pleasant sense of coziness. But they're also funny, entertaining, and just plain impossible to put down. If I ever need cheering up, all I have to do is pick up the Hilda books - and they immediately do the trick. I cannot wait for more Hilda adventures!
