About book Idle Bloom (2000)

It's not often I'm caught by surprise. I guess I was expecting more of a light read and instead got a book that knocked my socks off emotionally. This story was different and so entertaining too. I was really impressed with what I read and Jewel E. Ann for writing such an amazing story. And for everyone who is wondering, the title is perfect for this book! This story is fast paced. I found Vivian and Oliver's first meeting to be really cute, especially when it turned out the universe was plotting for them to find each other, even if they didn't. I loved alike they both were; they had issues from their pasts that were keeping themselves from being happy and living in the present. They really had to work to make their relationship happen. It felt like Oliver had all the power when it came to their relationship, but only because he held onto his secrets for the longest. There were moments when I laughed, like the cowboy scene Vivian sees, or the birthday present that falls onto the floor in front of Vivian's parents, and many others. There were moments when I was frustrated with either Vivian and Oliver, or both of them. I also got teary eyed when it became clear what it was they were going to have to overcome to be together. They also had some really hot moments. The chemistry between them was amazing.I didn't put this book down once. I'm surprised this is the first book by Jewel E. Ann I've read. I look forward to reading more from her. I hope Chance, Oliver's brother gets his own story. He certainly needs to be taken down a peg or two. 4 out of 5 stars Kindle Copy for ReviewLife is all but hiding painful truths. We meet Vivian Graham who finds herself working at The Green Pot a nursery that also sell legalize marijuana in Boston.
