About book La Asesina Y El Señor De Los Piratas (2012)

Aww this just made me love Celaena even more! At first I was hesitant to read this novella because Celaena comes off as real cocky. It was a bit of a turn off, but as the story continued I started to appreciate her more. I liked that deep down, although she is an assassin she wants what's best for the slaves. She did not want them to suffer so it was nice to see her try and save them. I also liked Sam! I'm trying not to get my hopes up about him because I heard rumors that something happens to him later, but he seems like a really good guy. On to the next novella! I'm not one for novellas so my review is mainly based on the fact that I've read the first two books in this series and gave its novella a chance. These means that I enjoyed Celaena so much I read one of those way too short books in order to get just a smidge more, yes this is addicting. As for the novella, overall not bad, I enjoyed getting to glimpse Sam outside of a memory perspective and pirates are a secrete fav of mine. I might give another Throne of Glass novella a go depending on how long it takes me to get my hands on book three. I really enjoy this series and would recommend it to anyone looking for something new to read that incorporates thrones, assassins, romance, and magic all in one.

Non leggo quasi mai le novelle, ma queste devo dire che promettono davvero bene!

3.5 -- didn't wow me, but the pacing was good for a novella.
