He can come off as pushy to those around him, including Bijou, the daughter of a famous rock musician. It doesn’t help that he’s a leopard shifter and Bijou is a female leopard about to come into heat for the first time. Nor does it help that a serial killer is on the loose in the swamps. Remy’s bossy but oh, so sexy too!Ms. Feehan added to her Carpathian world by bringing in new blood- The Leopards. Leopard’s Prey is the tale of an American leopard shifter who blends his leopard and police skills to track a killer. I really love the police pieces of the story as well as how Bijou isn’t a coward. She fights back just as much as she runs from her feelings. That’s the one thing I can always count on from a Feehan book- strong female characters. My only disappointment was that I knew the serial killer way way way before the police figured it out. Yes, there were a lot of people wanting to kill Bijou but they weren’t the killer. :) All in all, another fun read! Now if only Ms. Feehan can point me to a bossy, sexy police detective!
