About book Los Muertos Vivientes, Vol. 19: Marchamos A La Guerra (2014)
This is a culmination of all the books coming together and now there is going to be a war. Not a war between people and zombies, but a war between colonies to establish power and to try to get an actual civilization started again. This series has continuously kept me captivated just so I would know if any of my favorites aren't going to make it. There is a little lag in this volume as to be expected because it can't be action all the time, and the new build up of action was just enough to pull me in for the 20th volume! Next volume WAR has been declared. The battle is with The HIll Top, The Kingdom, and Rick's colony and they have banded together to take down Negan and the Saviors. How appropriate that Carl has a little emo boy haircut. Lulz.Anyway. Yeah the comics are finally picking back up after a long long loooooong boring streak. I like Ezekiel a lot. But I'm calling it now, Shiva will probably die, much to my dismay. Also love Jesus. I have since his first appearance, which is the only time the comics made me laugh. Also really gross how Negan claims to be against sexual violence but literally rapes his "wives" every night. But it's not rape, even though it's gross manipulation and threat, because the women "consent" right? Sigh. At least he's a villain, and not a good guy.
