About book Room At The Edge (2012)

I felt the guys were too frazzled and every time they said they needed to talk and figure things out, nothing was resolved. They got sidetracked with either sex, or love, or some other topic. Even at the end, it felt like they didn't truly resolve anything. The resolution didn't come through the pages to me. I'm not into BDSM, so maybe that's part of it, but I've read other books where you can really feel what the characters are feeling and thinking. That was lacking here as far as working things out. I felt really disconnected to the story. What can I say about this sequel? HOT HOT HOT! The sex in the story was great and even though there was a lot it did not distract from the plot only enlivened it. The decision to live together was iffy and I was worried it would tear them apart but working through it and Liam staying on track with trying to meet the needs of each of his subs made not only the living arrangements work but the relationship between the three all the stronger. To watch The two subs and their different anxieties over not only the relationship but other aspects of their lives made them all the more real but watching Liam help them to conquer those made me cheer him on as one of the best Doms I've ever read. His not choosing to continue to get angry at Jay for fighting him was perfect. The three kept each other on their toes so none of the scenes seemed repetitive. Liam exploring more of what it was like to be with a man or men was wonderful and his topping from the bottom scene made me smile. Excellent book and excellent series and I would say I want more of them but these two were so perfect I would be afraid to read a third! What if it disappointed me?? Like watching the last episode of Queer as Folk and they don't get married and there is me crying...no more of that! More books like this one though, Please Ms. Davitt I will devour them and beg on my knees for more!!
