About book The Janson Command (2012)

Robert Ludlum passed away in 2001. The book "The Janson Directive" written by him was published posthumously in 2002. The story ended in such a way that the first in a series of novels was born. The Ludlum estate have entrusted to "Paul Garrison" the job of continuing the storyline from that first novel and developing a series the equal of the "Jason Bourne" novels. They couldn't have chosen better if "The Janson Command" is any indication of what we might expect to follow.I enjoyed this fast paced, military suspense thriller enormously. "Paul Janson" and "Jessica Kincaid" are a more than capable team of operatives. I was thoroughly entertained by this read having a hard time putting it down. Ludlunm fans will not be disappointed. I will probably read "The Janson Directive" next waiting for next "Garrison" entry to this new series. Silly. Cardboard characters, ridiculous dialog, beyond believable plot developments (apparently the main characters have a superpower ability to be in the right place at the right time), etc. Also, the continued use of the model make and number for planes, guns, etc. got to be like nails on a chalkboard. It would be similar to replacing the word "car" with a description every time it comes up in a sentence: "I'm going to drive my Jetta Wagon Turbo Diesel with sunroof and roof racks to the grocery store...."

Do You like book The Janson Command (2012)?

Well written and interesting. My problem is that I'm just not into killing.
