About book The Witches Daughter (2012)

I really enjoyed this book. This is such a worldly and exciting character, she really likes this book come to life as you read it. Her laugh going back and forth for Tom throughout the book is such a great way to keep the hooked. The epic battle of good and evil in this book is done in such a way that you cannot help but appreciate Paula's imagination. The introduction of Teagan in this book is another example of how Paula feels a new character into an old story. The fact that she is writing a sequel to this book right now is another plus! I simply cannot wait to hear more about Bess and Teagan and the summerslands! **3.5 stars ** This book was much better than I was expecting based on the reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, spanning time and place. The current day representation of the character was a little lacking, but as this only tied together the many stories, it didn't spoil the read. I don't usually read books about witches, maybe that's why I enjoyed it more than so many who were disappointed. I quick and enchanting read.
