I am as clueless as Papa Cantella when it comes to the subject of economy. But does it stop me from enjoying this Wall Street thriller? Absolutely not. In fact, I found this book a bit educational as the author slipped in some explanation for terms and situations, making it an easy read for someone like me. And I like the moral value of this novel, in the end, Michael Cantella might be penniless, but he still got a family who deeply care about him. I have nothing but praise for the shock values in the storyline. As a Wall Street thriller, I never thought it will involved a lot of people killed, an assault in a hospital,kidnapping, torture by fire, and a helicopter being blown away like some Michael Bay's movie. Action packed, yet intelligently crafted. My only dread about this book was Ian Burn's death should be more tormenting. I really enjoyed this book. It combined finance with adventure and those are two things that normally don't combine. Fortunately in fiction anything can happen---and in this book, it does. Some of the criticisms of the book are that events get a mite too unlikely---and that's true, but I really enjoyed the book anyway. Grippando's writing is engaging enough that I was quite willing to suspend disbelief when the plot really took off.
