This was such a great series. So different than what I normally read, but I could not get enough. I loved Silvio & wanted good things for him. Yes, the whole mafia life was my draw to the series at first it was my first M/M read and what I found was a comfort zone I never expected. Aleksandr Voinov is an amazing storyteller, which is so different than an amazing author. I was brought into the world i was reading about and lived the story through the pages. Every charcter had such depth, you got to know their deepest secrets, thier fantasies and fear through each volume of the series. Oh don't shy away from this, read vol. 1 and you'll be hooked for the entire series.
